Progresso High Fiber Soup Review & Giveaway

I was offer to try the Progresso High Fiber Homestyle Minestrone Soup through MyBlogSpark. On Saturday, I received the package containing the soup and the following day I gave it a try.

I’ve never tried the Progresso Minestrone or any other type of Minestrone soup. So, I wonder how would it taste without no meat. I’ve always ate my soups with meat like chicken or beef, but never with just vegetables.

In the back of my mind I knew I was not going to like it at all, but when I started to cook it on the stove top the aroma of the vegetables and spices were delightful. If it smells this good maybe it’s not so bad. I tried it out I can only say it wasn’t bad at all I wouldn’t mind eating it again.

The Progresso High Fiber Home Style Minestrone soup is an excellent source of fiber, it has full serving of vegetables, it has 110 calories per serving, no msg added, and no artificial flavors. Besides the Minestrones, Progresso has the following varieties Chicken Tuscany, Creamy Tomato Basil, Hearty Vegetable and Noodles in High Fiber.

I forgot to mention when I received the package along with the soup there were two soups mugs and two spoons. Thanks to MyBlogSpark I can host a giveaway.

Can’t wait for Bulk Day

I need to clean out my garage and the basement I can’t wait when bulk day arrive so I can get rid of most of the junk I have stored. It’s been months and every time bulk day comes I completely forget to get it out. Not this month it’s going to get done. Once I clean up I’m thinking into reorganizing those areas by adding shelves.

Where can I get storage shelve at a very low price? I’m on a budget so at this moment money is very very tight.

I was thinking about looking into craiglist to see if anyone has dispose any shelving units that they may not need for free. I will definitely keep an eye out for it.

I’m also going to check out Sam’s Club being that I’m already a member. They have a variety of shelves at a reasonable price. I will check out their website during the weekend and see what they have available. But for right now let me concentrate or focus on taking out this stuff out and rearranging the garage or basement.

How to recycle your light bulbs?

Don’t throw your light bulbs in the recycle bin. Here at Espirit Cabane the magazine of crafty and green ideas has a tutorial for turning your light bulbs into hanging vases and/or salt or pepper shakers. Pretty cool, huh.

Has anyone tried recycling their light bulbs into a craft? If so, what did you create?

Nativity Sets

I can’t wait for the holidays to get here. Especially Christmas, it’s the most wonderful time of the year. I’m starting to get some ideas for the holidays. It is decoration time. First I will start with the indoors the fire mantel, dining room, foyer, and the living room. Oh, and the banister, too.

Then I will continue to the outdoors, but I need more inspiration for a nativity scene. The outdoors will be a little more difficult to decorate. My lawn has a little hill and I’m not sure how to decorate it without my Nativity sets falling down or if it starts to lean. I have enough time to think of some preparations and how to for the outdoors. But, if anyone has any ideas in the blog world, please let me know. I’m open to any suggestions.

Are you getting ready for the holidays? If so, here are some great nativity sets for your outdoors.

nativity sets
I definitely like this one the six piece illuminated nativity set it has Mary, baby Jesus, Joseph, and the three Wise Men. It has a soft glow and it’s perfect for small size lawns.

nativityset14
If you have a large lawn, this nativity set would be great for you. It has fourteen pieces including Mary, baby Jesus, Joseph, the three Wise Men, Gabriel, an ox, a camel, donkey, an angel and a shooting star. All are life-size.

You can choose individuals nativitiy sets like Joseph with the staff, Gasper holding the light on his hands, Gabriel with lamb, baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Mary kneeling down, baby Jesus, or the shooting star to complete your set. If you are just starting to build your nativity scene, I would begin with the Baby Jesus.

Do you already have a nativity set?

What pieces do you have?
