Don’t bother going to the store and spend hundreds of dollars in a new wardrobe. I was watching one of Rachael Ray segments. How to alter the wardrobe you have in your closet and save, plenty of money in doing so. In the segment, it included a family of four sisters including the mom with a tight budget and wearing hand me downs.

I alter old clothes (but still look like new) into something that’s more fresh with the times by sewing. Like an old jeans into skirts, or a blouse into a top that’s more updated by adding little ruffles or cutting off the sleeves. I used to do that even when I was in my 20’s and I still do it.
